YCA 2023 Creative Writing and Photography Work Showcased in LeftLion Magazine

The July issue of Nottingham's LeftLion magazine is out now and has four full pages dedicated to showcasing the work of winners of the Young Creative Awards 2023. 

The magazine's centrespread (see image above) features one photograph from each of the nominees in our photography category showcasing:

• Abi O'Brien (winner 11-15 age category)
• Deanna Gallacher (winner 16-18 age category)
• Eleanor Jarvis (winner (19-24 age category)
• Lily McLaughlin (Highly commended)
• Brian Lee (Highly commended)
• Rosie Allen (Highly commended)
• Vawn Humphrey-Wilson (Highly commended)
• Elsie Monk (Highly commended)
• Shannon Driver (Highly commended)
• Mason Dixon (Highly commended)
• Jogalie Kestenyte (Highly commended)

Then, another double page spread later into the issue, features a story by Amy Child (Winner of our 2023 19-24 Creative Writing category). What's more is the piece features illustrations from Kate Wand, herself a former YCA Winner (2020 Graphic Design category). It's great to see our past and present winners collaborating together on such creative work.
